Our engineering team has resolved the underlying issue that was causing duplicate Chase credit card transactions to be imported into QuickBooks Online. Moving forward, the system will not download duplicate transactions from other accounts.
However, any existing duplicate transactions that were already pulled into your account will need to be manually corrected on your end. Our backend team is unable to retroactively remove those duplicates that are currently showing in your online banking.

Hi there, rgl3.
Upon checking, there was an investigation into these duplicate transactions. However, the Product Investigations Team already provided a resolution to this issue.
You'll need to exclude the duplicates manually within QuickBooks Online. Please refer to the following steps below to exclude a transaction or multiple transactions:
Tip: If you accidentally exclude the wrong transaction, select the Excluded tab ,and click the checkbox for the transaction, then hit Undo.
Moreover, I'll share this article to help you combine transactions into a single record to match your real-life bank deposits: Record and make bank deposits in QuickBooks Online.
Comment below if you need further assistance in managing your bank transactions. I'll get back to assist you. Take care!
Hmm....I check my transactions every day or so. This problem is very new. The solution proposed would require me to MANUALLY exclude 155 transactions across 3 user card accounts that have already been reviewed and categorized on a different user's card - the charges go back to September. That cannot be the resolution. Is this going to continue to occur? If so, that is truly unworkable.

I had the same thing happen to me today using Chase. They downloaded a month (more?) of all activity from the account to all the cards, all five of them. But note that I am using Quicken to track these cards, which are for personal expenses (even though a business CC account).
Since it happened in Quicken as well, I think this is caused by Chase, and they screwed something up on the back end. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
I'm confused.
I still see a "We're working with Chase Bank to fix your connection. You'll see an alert here as soon as there's an update." banking alert on the transactions page.
Is the problem fixed or not?
Thank you for joining the conversation, belltyler.
We have no open investigation for this particular error at the moment. Kindly sign in to QBO using a private or incognito window. However, if it's the same thing, you'll want to contact our QBO Support so they can use more tools to check the issue.
Feel free to go back to this thread if you have other questions in mind. Have a good one!
I had to manually exclude the duplicate transactions. But they have not re-appeared, so hopefully after the one-time effort of going back thru the last 3 months of transactions, it won't happen again. Luckily, I was caught up before this happened, so I was able to "Select All" and just exclude almost all of the transactions for each card. I really hope that doesn't happen again.
Having the same issue.
