I have already gotten that far. When I enter my venmo credentials, the only account that shows up is my personal account. I need to link my business account. How do I do this?
Welcome back, @nicky-zabetian-c.
You may have the same credentials on your personal and business Venmo account. That's why QuickBooks is only reading your personal account after connecting it.
To ensure you can connect your business Venmo account, you'll want to contact your financial institution to separate the login credentials for your personal and business account.
Once the credentials are separated, you can now connect your business Venmo account using the correct login credentials. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.
After connecting your business account, your bank transactions will automatically be downloaded in QuickBooks. You might also want to read this article to learn how to review them: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Should you need any additional assistance connecting your bank accounts in QuickBooks, you can leave a comment below. I'll be sure to get back to you.
This is incorrect information. Venmo does not allow separating business and personal accounts into separate logins, unless you happen to have a second mobile phone line.

Any solution ever found for this?

I'll share insights about connecting QuickBooks to a Business Venmo account.
Venmo only allows the personal account to connect to QuickBooks. However, I'd still suggest reaching out to Venmo and submit a request for your business account to be included with the QBO connection.
In the meantime, you can manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Please feel free to review these handy articles:
After that, you'll learn how to review downloaded transactions and put them into an account correctly, and set up bank rules in QBO.

Just to let everyone know, I just requested help to seperate my Venmo personal and business accounts and the agent just told me to download the statements but of course, there has to be a new one each transaction which really doesn't help matters.
It doesn't work, says error 102
It doesn't work for me when need to enter credentials says error 102
We can try other troubleshooting steps to connect your bank account, Dayalexa.
The Banking error 102 you're prompted with means that your bank may have maintenance or have server issues. This can stop the online bank connection to QuickBooks. You can visit your bank's website to verify. You can also look for any messages, notifications, or alerts that can help you check if something isn't working.
If there are no issues on your bank's end, you'll want to connect the Biz Venmo account using a private browser. There are times that the browser stores frequently accessed data, thus causing websites, like QuickBooks Online, to perform unexpected behaviors. To use a private browser, here's how:
Once logged in, try connecting the account again. I suggest copying and pasting the bank's URL when connecting it to ensure that it's the correct bank. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.
Once your bank is connected, you can then categorize the transactions in your bank feeds.
Leave a post below if you have other questions about handling your bank downloaded transactions. I'm just a few clicks away. Have a nice day!
Hey did you happen to have a solution for this case?
I'm trying for a few months now, QB and Venmo does not provide me an actual solution
Thanks for joining us here, @ronsa007-gmail-c.
I've checked my resources and found no reported cases about users unable to connect Vermo and QuickBooks.
You'll want to check for a third-party application as mentioned by our Allstar @Fiat Lux - ASIA or create your other account as a sub-account. Before adding it as a sub-account, I recommend consulting with an accountant to make sure you're recording your transactions accordingly.
Here's how to create a sub-account:
However, if you don't want to create a sub-account, you can manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. This way, you're able to match and reconcile your Venmo transactions with QuickBooks.
Please know that you're always welcome to reply to this thread if you have follow-up questions or concerns with Vermo and QuickBooks accounts. I'm more than happy to assist you. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Hi, thanks for this prompt reply. I don't understand when you say that I should go to my online banking account to get my file. Do you mean my online venmo account? Thanks for clarifying
Hi Katarina,
I see that this is quite a long thread, and thanks for joining in. I would like to clarify to everyone that currently, only personal Venmo accounts can be connected to QuickBooks.
For your business account, you can log in to Venmo and download your transactions to a CSV file. Then, upload them to the Banking page in QuickBooks, and yes, this was what MaryJoy meant. Just format your CSV to successfully upload your transactions.
Here are some articles for your reference:
On the other hand, please feel free to submit feedback about enabling a connection to business accounts because I know it can make your work easier. Just click on the Gear icon and select Feedback. You can also suggest this to Venmo because enabling this option is a decision that can be made between them and Intuit. Therefore, the more requests we or they get, the higher the chance of making this possible.
I'm just around if you need further assistance with handling your transactions in QuickBooks Online. Take good care always, Katarina!
Has there been a solution to connect Venmo business accounts automatically yet? I know that you can download statements but that is very time-consuming.
Thank you.
