The program isn't allowing a connection as it will not accept the information I am providing.  What is the solution?

I'd be happy to guide you in connecting bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To get started, may I know the bank account you're trying to connect?

In general, when connecting bank account, you'll need to enter the username and password you use for your bank's website. Sometimes, it differs since it depends on the bank on how they'd connect to QBO.

To connect bank account, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. In the left menu, click Banking
  2. Go to the Banking tab, then choose Connect. If you've already added an account, pick Add account
  3. In the search bar, type in your bank's URL.
  4. Pick Continue, then enter the username and password you use for your bank's website in the pop-up window.
  5. Choose the type of account you're adding (savings, checking, or credit card). If you have multiple accounts with the same bank or credit card, choose the type for each one you're connecting.
  6. Select the date range for the download.
  7. Click Connect
