Your solution appears to be either use a US based person to be listed principal or enter any old 9 digit number not starting with 9. Both are a misrepresentation and subject to penalties but if the company itself operates based in the US then you have to use the US version
Or the owner applies for a SS#. They give them out like candy and citizenship has never been a requirement to get a number - just like getting a driver's license in Intuits home state
You don't need to enter an ID number unless you want to use QBO Payments, or use QBO Payroll. is it one of those?
