How do I add my company name to my W-9?

.Hi there, AF100!

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I'm happy to share information about putting your business name on your W9 form.

If you receive an invitation from your employer to enter your W9 information and are currently entering the details, you will be asked if you file taxes using the SSN or EIN as you go through the setup. You'll want to choose the EIN filing option so that you can enter your business name.

If you are done with the setup and you realized that you should have chosen the EIN, please contact our QBSE Support team, so they can assist you with this.

Here's an article for your additional reference: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Always feel free to go back to this thread if you have other questions in mind. Take care!
