How do you create an open balance report filtered by sales rep?

Having a report that contains specific data is essential to your operations, @bearchibald. Let me guide you on how to achieve this.

You can generate a transaction list report showing invoices utilizing the Sales Rep custom field and personalize it by specifying invoices that still have an open balance or are unpaid. I'll walk you through the steps to accomplish this.

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Type and open Transaction List by Customer in the Search address.
  3. On the upper right corner, click Switch to classic view option.
  4. Choose a reporting period accordingly and group by Sales Rep.
  5. Select Customize and under the Filter menu, select Sales Rep.
  6. Under the Select and reorder columns, tick the Open balance checkbox.
  7. Click Run report.

Now you can see a list of transactions with open balances and the sales representatives' names.
