Since you're using the Simple Start version, the /purgecompany feature won't work when deleting all data. You'll need to cancel you current company and then get a new one. Here's how to perform both of those actions:

The reason that I decided to sign up yesterday is that your salesperson offered me a very attractive full-year rate. Is there any way to ensure I can get that same rate when I sign back up? (Fingers crossed).
If not, I will simply cancel and go back to the desktop version as my current subscription is useless without being able to purge.

Once you cancel your account, we hang on to your data for one year for paid and trial subscriptions. The system only allows you to to purge your data if your account is less than 60 days. Know that this process only works for QuickBooks Online Plus and Essentials versions.
If you wish to continue using the program, you'll need to have a paid subscription. I suggest to call our support to assist you in cancellation. They can verify the rate or promo if it is available.

You are unable to purge QBO Simple Start. You should cancel it and open a new one.

Another option, you can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 to upgrade your version.
