Join nowWe currently have 3 companies setup using Quickbooks 2020. We upgraded from 2017 earlier this summer and primarily only operate Company #1 on a daily basis at this time (Using credit card processing and payroll subscription services). However I am pulling end of year reports for Company #2 & Company #3 which have completed 2020 business (I have no add on services for either, they are just simple company setups) I made the mistake of updating the company file. Now it is asking me to setup an Intuit Account for these companies. When I try to enter the credentials of my current Intuit Account (I already have set up) it alerts me that my email is assigned to a different account ? ? Am I missing something here? I thought the purpose of "One Intuit Account" was supposed to minimize the administration and effort not add to it ?
I postponed a reminder for 7 days so I can get my reports to the accountant but I do anticipate activity in this company file in 2021 and I am concerned it will not allow me access to my company files ...
Perhaps I missed a step or clicked something prematurely, I have always found insightful information from the community.... Looking for helpful direction and guidance
TIA
Hoppel
The alert will not prevent you from registering your 2 other companies to same email as your Intuit account
I cannot get in the intuit account. What should I do?
I've got you covered, @SB70.
I have several ideas to ensure you're able to access your Intuit account.
First, let's make sure to enter the correct user ID and password when accessing your account. Please note that the login info you use to access your company file is different from your Intuit Account credentials. Unless, if you set it that way.
If you can't remember your user ID and/or password, you can choose the I forgot my user ID or password option to retrieve your account. Follow along below to get this sorted out right away.
Here's how:
Once done, try logging in again. For more details about this, please check out this article: Manage Intuit log in.
Also, you can browse through this handy resource for more account management tips: What is CAMPS and how do I use it?
Lastly, you can comment back if you encounter an error message when logging in to your Intuit account. This way, I can give you the best resolution.
I'm still up and running to answer more QuickBooks account management concerns you may have. Just add the details below and I'll reply as soon as possible.
