Issues uploading logo for a client

When I click to add the logo, the screen goes grey; I can see the page but I can't click on anything. I can hit escape and the screen is accessible but when I try to click add logo again, same problem.

I'm here to help upload your logo successfully in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @PeakConsuslting.

One possible reason why you're unable to upload the symbol is the logo requirements. Make sure you're able to meet the standards set by QBO.

Here are the following criteria you need to check:

  • The logo is a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file.
  • The file size is smaller than 10 MB
  • Have a bit depth ( or color depth) of 24-bits or less
  • Uses the standard RGB color space (RGB)
  • The shape of the logo is square. Rectangles don't work

Then, you can open the logo with Microsoft Paint (or Preview on Mac) and save it as .jpg with a new file name to help upload it.

If the issue persists, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are times when the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses. Let's start accessing your account using a different or private browser. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

Once you have successfully uploaded the logo, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks Online. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

Additionally, I've attached this link to help you edit and customize logos on sales forms. Adding this helps establish the company's brand and personality.

Please let me know how it goes after doing the troubleshooting steps with uploading logos. I want to make sure everything is taken care of. Keep safe and take care.

Thank you @Rubielyn_J for the response! I cleared my cache and that didn't help so I downloaded FireFox on my Mac and I was able to upload the logo from there. Looks like it was a Safari-QBO issue maybe!

Thank you for getting back, @PeakConsuslting.

It's my pleasure to know that the logo was uploaded successfully using the Firefox browser. I want you to know that you can also use other supported browsers while working with QuickBooks.

On the other hand, you can get more tips while uploading, editing, or deleting logos on your sales forms from this article: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.
