My accountant is having problems connecting with me on my QB account. Can anyone help?

I'm here to help ensure you're able to connect with your account in QuickBooks Online, usergif2me1.

 

Your accountant will receive an email after sending an invitation. It contains steps on how to connect your QuickBooks. If you haven't sent an invitation, you can send through these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a master admin.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users.
  3. Select the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Click  Invite.
  5. Enter your accountant's info and select Save.

If your accountant doesn't have a QuickBooks Online Accountant, there's also a link for how to sign up. 

 

Please know that regular accountant users don't count toward your user limit. However, if you also make your accountant your company’s master admin, they will count.

 

If your accountant is getting an error, make sure to open the email using supported browsers. Or clear the browser's cache and cookies to remove recent web pages.

 

Also, the invitation will expire after 48 hours. What you need to do is delete the user and add it again to get the new email.
