Let me guide you on how to fix your bank issue, Tricia.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) downloads transactions every night but may still vary. But before we start, may I know what's the name of your bank? You can manually update your bank to keep up with the latest transactions. To do so, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Choose Transactions from the left menu.
  2. Go to Banking.
  3. Select Update.

However, if the same thing happens, you can log in to your bank website and check for alerts or known issues that may have been the cause of the update to be slow and stuck. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  3. Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

To know more about what you can do when you're not getting the latest transactions, check out this article for more information: Bank Errors and Missing Transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, learn how to create rules that automatically categorize transactions for you.  I've added this article for reference: Set UP Bank Rules To Categorize Online Banking Transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same error persists, use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
