I updated the link in my bank accounts, and it created all new links for each of them. How can I remove the second links?

Bank account links are doubled.  There are two links for each bank account.  Help me remove the duplicates.

I've got the steps you need to remove the duplicate link, info-cowetachamb.

Updating the link on your bank account will not create a duplicate link. You may have created a new account instead of connecting it to the existing one.

To remove the duplicate link, let's disconnect it from the program. Here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, then select Transactions.
  2. Choose Banking.
  3. Select the tile for the bank account.
  4. Click the pencil icon, then select Edit account info.
  5. Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  6. Once done, click on Save and Close.

Then, you can make the account inactive on your Chart of Accounts.

To ensure that all your bank transactions are added to the correct accounts, I'd recommend checking out these resources:
