My annual bill just went from $288 per year to $860. Why? Did this happen to anyone else?  How do I connect with Quickbooks to inquire about this. It seems really wrong, like there is a mistake somewhere.

Hi @judineal, I want to ensure you're able to determine why the $680 charge is billed to your account.

 

In QuickBooks Online, charges to an account are determined mostly by the subscription and online services such as payroll. It's best to contact our Customer Care Support and let one of our online specialists pull up your account details and verify your billing information.

 

You can do so by following the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter $860 annual bill in the What can we help you with? field.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Click Chat with us or Have us call you.

I am using QB online, with no add-ons.

Where is your company located? Afaik, QBO US version doesn't offer any annual plan.

I am in the US. Today I was able to do an online chat with a staff member from Quickbooks and learned that somehow I got signed up for the Plus program when I have been subscribed to the Simple program for years. This staff member not only got me back to the correct subscription, he gave me a discount on my subscription for 2022. My issue is now resolved very satisfactorily. 

 

My challenge was that QB does not provide a way to contact them over the weekend, so that is why I reached out to this community.  Thanks for your support.

Something is wrong with their billing

they billed me for a desk top that I never utilized last year

 

this year I paid for the full year and they still charge me 15 a month

and now they just canceled my entire subscription when I paid for the entire year

 

What is wrong with this company has it gone Chinese

I can help you get in touch with our dedicated QuickBooks Online Support team to assist you on getting this sorted out. This way, our representative can check and investigate on your account to determine the reason why you were billed without using the product. To begin, here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
  • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
  • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.
