Can you please help me fill out the 941 for 1st quarter report, it's not doing it as usual ?

As an initial step, updating the QuickBooks Desktop release version is a good start when it comes to fixing program and payroll-related issues. I'll guide you how:

1. Go to the Help menu and choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
2. Select Update Now. 
3. Check the Reset Update box to clear all previous update downloads.
4. Click Get Updates.
5. Restart the software when the download is complete. 
6. Accept the option to install the new release when prompted.

After that, let's download the latest payroll tax table to ensure that your data is accurate and ready to use. Here's how:

1. Click Employees at the top menu bar and choose Get Payroll Updates.
2. Choose the Download Entire Update checkbox.
3. Tap on the Update button. A window appears when the download is complete.
   
4. Hit OK.

I cant file my 2021 1st Q 941 form.

I try what you recommended but still wont let me file

We can perform a few troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue, hdzcose.  

Let's isolate this concern for possible damage by running the verify and rebuild tool. This is a built-in tool that auto-detect and self-resolves any minor company file data issues. Here's how:

To Verify Data: 

1. Go to the File menu.
2. Choose Utilities.
3. Select Verify Data.
   • If QuickBooks doesn't find any problems, select OK. You can keep using your company file. You don't have any data damage.

To Rebuild Data: 

1. Click the File menu.
2. Go to Utilities and select Rebuild Data.
3. Hit OK to back up your company file.
4. Wait until the Rebuild is complete.
5. Press View Results.

You can repeat the same process two or three more times. Once completed, restart your device to ensure that all components are updated. You can try file your 941 form again.

Same here.  Gives me a error saying it will only efile / file Q3 and Q4.  Apparently forms may have changed????

I'll share the steps on how you can file form 941. You'll want to run the QuickBooks File Doctor tool. This tool helps fix the company file issues. Let me guide you how.

1. Close QuickBooks.
2. We recommend you download the most recent version (1.5.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file on your Desktop.
3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe). Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
4. When the installation finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
5. From the launch\pad, select Company File Issues.
6. Click QuickBooks File Doctor.

After running the tool download the latest tax table update. See this guide for details: Get the latest payroll tax table update.

Lastly, try creating the form again.
