I have been using Intuit products since 2000 and I currently have accounts for Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks online (for a different entity), TurboTax and Quickbooks Point of Sale and a couple of accounts that I no longer use that are tied to email addresses that I no longer use. Keeping track of all of the various passwords is becoming more and more difficult. Can I combine all of my products into one account with one username and password?
Yes, you can use a single login credential for all of your Intuit product subscriptions, matrophy1.
We'll need to choose a specific username and password. Then, we can access each product and edit the login credentials. Here's the process that we can follow:
After updating the usernames and passwords, you should be able to access your subscriptions through CAMPS.
That should do it! I'll be right here if you need more help with this. Have a great day!
Hi,
I just spent about 2-hours on a chat with QB support because of issues logging into QB Online. She finally determined that the reason I was unable to login is because I am using the same username for both my QB online account and my QB desktop account. She said I MUST have different usernames for each product. However, this post says otherwise.
Trying to determine whether the statement made by Intuit Support is accurate. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Cam

You can use the same login credentials for both our Online and Desktop versions of QuickBooks. If your QBO email and/or password is identical to the info you sign in to QBDT with, it won't cause any problems on either side.
If you're having trouble signing in to QBO, you'll want to use our I forgot my user ID or password tool.
Here's how:
1. Go to the sign in page, choose QuickBooks Online, then select I forgot my user ID or password.2. In your Enter your phone number, email or user ID field, enter one of the appropriate pieces of information.3. Follow the next step you're presented with.
If your email address isn't accessible for this process, you'll want to contact our Customer Care Team. They'll be able to pull up the account in a secure environment and research your login problems with you.
Here's how:
1. Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
2. On the Which QuickBooks do you need help with? window, choose QuickBooks Online.
3. Hit Search for something else.
4. In your Tell us more about your question: field, enter a description about what you need assistance with.
5. Press Search.
6. Select Start a Message.
You'll also be able to find many helpful resources about using both versions of QuickBooks in our help article archives.
Feel welcome to reach out here if there's any additional questions. Have a lovely day!
@ZackE - I appreciate your prompt and thorough response. I want to share a portion of the email I received from Mylene in QBO Care. This is why there was confusion on this topic. I have shared your post with her.
Hi @camcollins,
I appreciate you for getting back to us here in the Community. Allow me to step in and provide some clarification about combining Intuit accounts.
You can use the same login credentials to connect all of your Intuit products. Your user account is universal and can be used to sign in to most of our sites.
You usually send an email or phone change request to our account protection team if you're unable to recover your account. The process requires you to submit the needed requirements and fill out the form.
Please check the articles below for more details about managing your Intuit account, as well as how to update login information for QuickBooks Online:
Keep us posted if you need anything else regarding the setup. Have a great day.
Thanks for the additional insight. All systems are a go at this point. ;-)
