Hi there, carol20!
Let's make sure you'll be able to view and print those reports.
There has been no changes on the way you can run the reports in QuickBooks. Your payroll report will show all the deductions and contributions you've made. Make sure to associate the payroll items on your paychecks to view them on your report.
You can also use different compatible browsers for Quickbooks Online.
Here are the lists of supported browsers:

Thanks for the reply, Archie B. I have been using QBO for 7+ years & I've never had any problems generating this report until a couple weeks ago. It appears that I can't generate any of the payroll reports under the Standard tab of the Reports menu. All I get is a blank screen, no headings, no nothing, just a blank white screen. I use the QBO app on my desktop.

I was able to generate the report from the online version of QBO. I uninstalled the desktop app & reinstalled it from the link on the website hoping that there was merely a glich in the app. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem.

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community, @carol20.
Being unable to generate your payroll reports using a QBO app on your desktop is still tagged as an ongoing issue.
The only reports you can pull up on an app version are the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports. Also, I recommend you to log in on a regular browser to view the said report.
Here's how:
Change the date period or add filters, then click Run report.
Please refer to this article to see a table list that compares mobile app features.
Keep me posted if you need anything else concerning payroll. I’ll be right here to help you.
So are you saying that there is an ongoing issue with printing payroll reports using the QBO desktop app and that I am not the only customer having problems?
Just to make sure I am clear about the issue I am having... I can display & print all reports under the Standard tab and Management Reports tab in the Reports menu with the exception of Payroll reports under the Standard tab. This is a new development that I noticed around March 1st. I am able to display & print these reports when I log into QBO on the website.
I also want to make sure you understand that I do not use the mobile app. I'm experiencing this problem on the desktop app.
Hello there, @carol20.
I can see that you've already performed the basic troubleshooting steps such as uninstall and reinstalling the app. Since you're done with that process, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to verify your account and help you fix this.
Also, I'd like to share some updates about the availability of QuickBooks QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac product. The support and software update will stop on April 20, 2021, due to limited use. You can still use QuickBooks Online through your preferred browser.
I recommend the following article as it contains additional insight on the app and troubleshooting: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General Support.
I'll be around if you have other questions. Don't hesitate to let me know by using the Reply button. Stay safe.
Thanks, Stephanie. It's disappointing that the Windows app will be unsupported after April 20. I love using it because I can have multiple windows open at one time, which really is a time saver. It's going to be hard to go back to the browser version of QBO. :(
