I switched to a new 2020 MacBook Pro running Catalina. I tried to open my company file, the only place it appeared was in "recents" and got the following:
The document “SGP LLC.qb2019” could not be opened. The file doesn’t exist.
I've found some of my files in the cloud, but they are all grayed out. Please help! I can't even imagine trying to recreate my company.
Thanks in advance.
I was able to find the company from a backup thumb drive and was able to open it. However, the program will not let me back up. I get the following:
Another user has deleted the company file. QuickBooks must close the company file.
There is no other user!
Opening Company doesn't work, I can only open the file from Recent. My invoices and check register are intact. HOWEVER: I cannot backup or save to my desktop.
When I try to Save For Accountant, it requests that I verify for WINDOWS. I have no idea where that came from.
There is some type of corruption going on with the file or program. I tried using Chat but there is no way I can get all of these problems into the tiny chat window with limited characters.
I was able to print the general ledger from 2017 through today...just in case.
Once again - please help!
More help please!

I'm sorry I'm being a pain, but I can't find anything that say PLIST for intuit. To begin, the only way I can locate Library is through "Harriet" in the finder:
When I hold down the option key and click on Library then go to Preferences, this is what I see:
I don't see how to find PLIST using this. So I tried just searching for com.intuit.QuickBooks2019 and what I found was this:
Clicking on there 2019 folders I find this:
I cannot find PLIST in any if these drop downs. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, but after trying for hours, I'm getting nowhere.
Thanks for your patience.
