Hi,
Does anyone else have blank panel when they click on Notes in the Accountant Tools. Already tried clearing cache. They are blank in Chrome and Firefox. At least we can still access them from the Accountant home page, but inside a client's portal notes have been blank since last week.
Thank you
Erin

Hello there, @erinm2.
I appreciate your time and effort in performing the troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.
We haven't received any reports on this. You'll want to make sure that you've provided the correct report period so it would display the information.
However, if your notes in accountant tools aren't still blank, I recommend contacting our support team to help you find out why is this happening. With their tools, someone from there can create a new case ID associated with your account to be submitted to our engineering team for further investigation.

Good evening, @erinm2.
Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
I recommend clearing the cache from your browser. Web browsers collect cache (cookies) to save time when loading repetitive data and images. These files can often become outdated or corrupted, causing issues like the one with your notes being blank. I've included the links for all supported browsers that contain the steps for clearing the cache below.
Let me know if you have additional questions or concerns. I'll be here to guide you back to business every step of the way. You can always reach out to the Community anytime you need assistance. Take care!
Hello and thank you Tori!
Yes, we already tried that. Cleared all cache and cookies. Notes are blank in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Explorer with clean cache.
It appears to be a Quickbooks issue, not a browser issue. I called support last week and yesterday and so far there it is still being investigated. I just wondered if anyone else is having this issue.
Thank you,
Erin

Hi Grace,
Thank you. I have called support twice and they said they would have to submit for investigation and that they would reach out when they had more information. So weird that no one else is having this issue.
What did you mean by "correct report period"? the Notes does not have any way to change report period, does it? Is there a way a change could have been made somewhere in settings on our accountant program?
Thank you,
Erin
Thank you,
Erin
Hi Erin,
You are correct, there is no way to actually change the report period, however what you can do is filter the customers/vendors/employees by dates. I believe that is what my colleague was referring too. I suggest checking out our QBO test drive tool in the meantime while you wait to hear back from our support team. The test drive tool allows you to play around in QBO and try options you'd never know existed in your actual account. This allows you to try anything without worrying you'll mess something up and is a handy tool that we use all the time! Check it out here.
In the meantime if you have any questions, feel free to post them down below. Thanks for stopping by the Community and have a lovely evening.
Great news. This morning the Notes section is populating again and is no longer blank.
Thank you for all your replies.
Erin
