We can take a few steps together to troubleshoot and regain your ability to export your tax withdrawal in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Duc.
Sometimes, a browser can accumulate a lot of frequently accessed pages, which could lead to unusual behaviors and errors when you try to export your tax withdrawal. To help resolve this, I recommend opening an incognito window in your browser to access the product with a clean slate.
Depending on your browser, you can use the following shortcuts:
If you don't receive an error when attempting to export, please return to your regular browser and clear the cache for a fresh start. Additionally, switching to other supported browsers could also be worth a shot.
Moreover, QuickBooks enables you to run reports for guidance on reviewing transactions included in each box on the tax return based on your tax settings.

I have same problem. what should I do?
Hi there, Jessie. I'd like to provide some workaround for exporting tax withdrawals in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Currently, the ability to export files in QBO is still unavailable. For the time being, you can enter them as manual checks in your account, or you may consider waiting until the export option becomes available.
To manually enter checks in your account, you can follow these steps:
I've added a short sample video for your visual reference.
Additionally, you can check our year-end guide which provides step-by-step instructions for closing your books, preparing financial statements, and ensuring your records are accurate before filing your taxes in QBO.
If you have any additional questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
This is temporary patch, we need your QB technical team work on the QBO software and revise once find the problem please.Thank you
QBO payroll core working fine until QB decide to change policy: withdrawn tax in advance then this problem appear. This way I did it myself to reconcile my account but it just an alternate way, I am request QB technical team look into software glitz to solve this matter. Thank you
The way I am doing temporary is find your previsions recorded payroll tax check then duplicate it and change the date, tax period and amount and recorded in my check register.
I also have this problem - just spent 40 minutes with a very pleasant Tier 1 agent (Jessica).
I'm very familiar with these sorts of problems, particularly with 'cloud based' applications running across many different browsers and export methods. I am fine with 'non-critical' problems like this being resolved in a non-emergency manner, what I'm not going to accept is that the 'distributed agency' model of Tech Support that has too little support provided by the 'Tier 2' and other team members to the front-line Tier 1 agents.
I strongly recommend that a real-time 'known issues' log is managed and available to all levels of the Tech Support organization. It is absolutely necessary that a large organization like Intuit has such a capability so that they don't waste the Tier 1 response team and don't further frustrate their Customers (like me).
What took me 30 minutes, could have been a 30 second exercise:
"Tell me your problem - ah, here it is - yes we know about it and are working on a resolution - the team is now projecting that a solution should be available in X hours/days - before I leave you - would you like an email or text message when it is resolved and you can check it out?"
Maybe even one better: Post a 'flag' on the website page where the system is currently 'kaput' - Then your 'valued customers' don't even waste their time on repeated tries to operate something that Intuit has known to be broken.
Did any one not using QB automatic tax pay and file (do your own tax and pay thru QBO facing this export "Tax withdrawal" data??? I am trying to get off automatic tax pay and filing. Thanks
It's all work fine for years (at least since last few years) then once QB decided to change early withdrawn fund for tax payment this October then the problem start. If is does broke don't fix it please. I don't think early tax fund withdrawn is good because all of us don't want to pay government tax until the last day so why QB take out our hard earned money then pay the government later??? they use this money to make more money for them, simple!! watch out, they may face a class action law suit for this practice.
The same issue persists with Online Payroll to Mac for Desktop 2024. Given the substantial price increase for Desktop for Mac 2024, the immediate resolution of the export functionality issue from Online Payroll is imperative. While I acknowledge Desktop is being phased-out Online Payroll’s ability to export is critical. Intuit’s recommendation to transition to QuickBooks Online, then inability or unwillingness to address this glitch raises serious concerns about a continued partnership with Intuit. The substantial time invested in researching potential solutions and engaging in support calls has been both unproductive and frustrating. Valued customers like myself have collectively wasted countless hours over the past two months on this issue. Kindly provide the link to submit my invoice for reimbursement for my time spent on this matter!
