My venmo is not linking - I have reached out to support several times but no resolution. Is anyone else having this problem. It did work part of the year. I know the sign in info is correct.
Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Amy Jane.
To confirm my understanding, are you trying to link your Venmo account for payment processing or online banking?
If you're trying to link Venmo for online banking, I'd recommend signing in on your bank's website and checking for any security updates, messages, etc. Sometimes they change some of their processes and add new security measures which can cause issues with connections to third parties, like QuickBooks. If you see any updates or notifications, be sure to acknowledge and address them, then return to QuickBooks and try linking the account again.

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Thursday!
I have tried every possible way to link it including going back to bank and double checking. I think there is a problem on the QB side and I don't hear back from them. The problem is that payments I've received in Venmo are not showing up in my QB transactions to add to my payments.

It's amazing that this is coming from 1/9/24. I have checked every day to try to connect the Venmo account to my Quickbooks online. I have gotten error 103 every single time I have checked. I have checked three times a day for 5 days. Never worked.
Is there something bigger going on that I should know about? When is this expected to be fixed? What are we supposed to do with new companies that need to link their Venmo transactions, but it's been 15 days into the year and this connector still does not work?
I regret to know that you're experiencing this error, tladder.

Hi Amy,
I spoke with Venmo today Jan 16, 2024 and they said that Quickbooks terminated them. The owner of quickbooks. I haven't been able to reconcile this with my bank and am off by several thousands of dollars and it's tax season! I've spent numerous hours on the phone with quickbooks and researching online. The agents there are saying it's Venmo's fault, yet it is Quickbooks. You will never be able to connect your venmo accounts again. Find a new accounting software company that is REPUTABLE!
Zach, stop wasting Amy's time or others. Quickbooks terminated Venmo and now there is a HUGE PROBLEM!
QUICKBOOKS TERMINATED VENMO. WORKING FOR THEM CHARLIE, YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW THIS.
DIDO AND NOW MY BANK BALANCE IS OFF BY THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. IF YOU CALL VENMO, THEY WILL TELL YOU WHY. QUICKBOOKS TERMINATED VENMO SO YOU WILL NEVER BEING ABLE TO CONNECT YOUR VENMO NOW THANKS TO THEM DOING THIS. THIS HAS AFFECTED MILLIONS! QUICKBOOKS IS TO BLAME!
LOL. QUICKBOOKS TERMINATED VENMO.
Same problem here. Started last year where I would have to manually link Venmo every time I signed in/updated accounts. Then it stopped linking at all. Then went back to manually-every-time again. Now, back to not linking at all. My workaround was to download the csv file from Venmo and manually upload the file. Takes a while but eventually got the job done. Will be following this to hopefully hear of a fix!
Any update on the status of this? I'm having the same issue.... Venmo is not linking and I know everything else is working properly. This should be fixed by QBO immediately.

Ive had the same issue for years. Called and talked to a human, the problem was temporarily solved but went back to the same error some days later. This is clearly a problem on quickbooks' side, but they seem unwilling to admit that or address the issue.
I am also having this same issue - won't connect - it's a 103 error. It didn't work for part of January, then worked again, and now hasn't worked for the past week or two. Is it true that QB is no longer supporting Venmo? I find this very frustrating, since the price of my QB subscription increased right around the time this first started happening, in September.
I can see the urgency of linking your Venmo account, Jenny.
