Welcome to the Community @East17.
I'll help you sort this out so you can activate your subscription.
There are some possible reasons why you encounter an error message when activating your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription.
Among these are:
Let's ensure we enter the correct Credit or Debit card number on the Payment Information page to resolve this. Then, make sure the Billing Address details don't have any special characters such as hyphens, commas, and periods. You’ll have to verify if the billing address in QuickBooks is the same as the one shown on your credit card statement.
Then, try accessing QBO using a private or an incognito browser and click the Subscribe button again.
If you're able to successfully do so, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Using other browsers can also help us get rid of errors since they store a different cache.
Alternatively, you can use other payment methods to renew your subscription. Please check out the Subscription payment options for QuickBooks Online article for more details about this one.
You can also get further help from our Customer Support Team if the issue persists. They can pull up your account and have a conversation in a secure environment. See our support hours to reach them at your most convenient time.
