Hello joel14,
I've viewed your profile and it seems that you've commented on a thread intended for other regions. There was an investigation about and the suggestion was to call phone support to cancel subscription manually.
For the US region users, we haven't received further reports about it. Instead, we can do a few troubleshooting steps to fix this on our own. Though cache helps browser's loading processes, it can also cause issues when piled up. Here's how to get rid of any cache related concerns on the program:
If the same thing happens, it'd be best to reach out to our Customer Care Team. Simply go to Help icon in the upper-right corner and click Contact us.
You can always get back to us if you need anything else.
I've tried all these options (clearing cache, using different browsers, including Safari, Chrome and Firefox, as well as a private browser and the Quickbooks Online app that I downloaded). I've also contacted technical support, but they said they could not help me because they were not US based. I tried to contact US technical support, but apparently that's not possible unless it is business hours. I cannot call unless during certain business hours (which is difficult since I am on vacation in the far east).
I also submitted a form for technical support to resolve this issue. The response? They cannot not resolve it because the submission went to the global team. They told me to submit to the US team. But I am not allowed to submit to the US team. It seems you can only submit during certain hours.
Why can't Intuit just fix the bug so that I don't have to try all these things without resolution. The answer is: Intuit would prefer to collect my monthly subscription than fix a simple bug (I am a developer, and I found the bug in your code, and could fix it in about 5 minutes). California law stipulates that a company that advertises an online subscription must also allow for online cancelation. Intuit is in violation of this law. At this point I think it is easier for me to report Intuit to California officials rather than continue trying to cancel the four subscriptions (how many hours should it take to cancel?) that someone at Intuit erroneously signed me up for, which is what I am doing now.. Why are you making this so difficult!

Hi there, joel14.
I see you've already contacted our support team several times. Calling us back for the same issue isn't easy, but I'm here to ensure you'll get the right help in cancelling your account.
You can leave a number to our team by choosing to Get a call back so our team will be the one to call you.
Here's how:
Once done, rest assured that someone will contact you and discuss this further and get this handled as soon as possible.
Please check this article to see few things you should know about the life of your QuickBooks Online data after you cancel it: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?. This article also provides the data availability and export polices after cancellation.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. Just leave a reply below, and I'll take it from there. Take care always.
This is the biggest bullcrap ever!! My subscription doesn't allow for a call back option! How the hell am I supposed to use this stupid non-option?? You are a worthless company and I will make sure everyone i know is aware of this incompetent method you practice!!! Then make it super impossible to cancel your subscription, and forget about trying to contact you directly!! You made sure that would never happen!! Piece of crap company!!
