Can't get to bank feeds center

Tried to download bank information to upload it to QuickBooks but that didn't work.  Now every time I try to get to Bank Feeds Center, I get this screen.  Won't let me edit or delete the file and nothing happens when I try to Send.  How do I get rid of it?

Thanks for dropping by, TTVBookkeeper.

I can't see your screenshot either. Would you mind attaching it when you reply?

You can try some steps, like updating your QuickBooks and restarting your PC.

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Go to the Update Now tab. Tip: You can select the Reset Update checkbox to clear all previous update downloads.
  3. Select Get Updates to start the download.
  4. When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
  5. When prompted, accept the option to install the new release.

I'm just right here to continue to help. Take care!

Can't get to bank feeds center

Hi there, TTVBookkeeper. I'm here to help with your banking concern.

Since you're unable to attach a screenshot of the challenges you encounter, can you verify the error message instead when trying to upload the file in QuickBooks?

When importing bank transactions, ensure that you download your Web Connect file directly from your bank, not from inside QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your bank's website
  2. Find and download the Web Connect file (.qbo file).
  3. Open QuickBooks and your company file.
  4. Follow the steps to import the .qbo file.

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to your bank to check if there are any changes in your account settings when downloading transactions.

You can also follow the detailed guides from this link for additional troubleshooting steps: Fix Web Connect import errors.

Please let me know how things go on your end by adding a comment below. I'm more than happy to help. Keep safe!

Can't get to bank feeds center

Hello, Wing.

Let's manually reset your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) update to make sure you've installed all the features and product improvements implemented for the system. I'll gladly show you how to do this below.

QuickBooks will automatically download updates when they're available. However, you can run the update manually anytime you need to. To do this, here's how:

  1. Close your company files and QuickBooks.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu.
  3. Search for QuickBooks Desktop. Right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
  4. While on the No Company Open screen, go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  5. Go to the Options tab. Select Mark All and then click Save.
  6. Go to the Update Now tab and select the Reset Update checkbox.
  7. When you're ready, select Get Updates.

To learn more on how you can keep QuickBooks updated, please see this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

In case the error continues, I'd recommend contacting our Technical Support team to report the issue and get it fixed in no time.

Once everything is all set, add and match bank feed transactions in QBDT to keep your financial data accurate.

You can always come back here if you need further assistance accessing the bank feed center in QBDT. Click the reply button below, and we'll answer you as soon as possible. Keep safe, and have a great day.
