check register not showing a running balance. just has N/A in bank column

all of a sudden bank account  balance doesn't show is register 
show N/A in the column

In the check register, @SallyP1. There is a chance that you have clicked the other heathers that usually will show N/A.

 

There are only two heathers that will show balances, which are the dates and the reconciled and banking status columns. The other heathers will show N/A, such as reference number, payee, and deposit.

I don't understand what I selected or how it happened that I get data/reconciled status only in my check book register with no running total.  Please tell me how to get running total back n check book  thank you  I also don't understand your word "Heathers"
