QB Payments has lost over 20k of our money via QB Payments. They collected it on Sept 3rd and we still do not have it. QB Payments customer service has done absolutely nothing to help. They say its GreenDots fault but we cannot contact GreenDot ourselves. We still do not have our money. They did charge the fee though.
I understand the difficulty of having funds on hold for a long time. It includes the effort and time devoted while waiting. I'm here to turn around the table so you can start processing payments in no time, 3031.
As much as I want to help you, we're unable to pull up private information here. I recommend contacting our Payment Support Team again. They have the tools to review your account and verify the payment status and the charged fee.
Here's how to reach them:
See this article for our operating hours so we can address your concerns on time: Contact Payments. It includes the contact number you can use to call us directly.
Additionally, after verifying the charges, you can contact GreenDot support. This way, they can provide more details about the funds being on hold.
To learn the deposit speeds depending on banks, refer to this guide: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
I'm just around the corner to help you again if you have concerns aside from your QB Payments. Just reply below. I'll be glad to answer them for you.
I doubt it's "lost". QB will "Hold" your money to collect a bunch of interest off of it. They do this ALL the time, to a LOT of their customers. Some receive their money within a week or two. Others have had to wait up to 9 months only to have to collect it from their state.
You can use the Search bar at the top of any page here in the community to find others that have had the same thing happen.
PLEASE consider filing complaints with EVERY agency you can think of. BBB, FTC, your state Attorney General, etc.
The only reason QB continues this practice, is because no one will complain. The more complaints there are, the more likely they will be forced to stop.
Good luck.
