This happened to me when I added a new bank account this morning.
Hi Veemoose and hello79,
This happens when your bank account connected to Esty is also connected to QBSE. Both of them send the same transactions to QBSE that's why they are duplicated. What you'll want to do is undo your added transactions to QBSE. Then, going forward, you can only add the transactions that are not in your Esty account.

I just got an update right now. Some users are experiencing the same thing. We're making our engineers aware of this behavior as well.
Please reach out to our Support, so they can get your company information, and add it to the list of affected users.
Please don't hesitate to post back if you have other questions.
The problem is, only January’s (2020) Etsy income and transaction fees duplicated, not Etsy’s shipping transactions or the advertising fees. It’s extremely time consuming to figure out which ones to delete. Fortunately this is my slow season. If this continue to happens, I may have to hire a book keeper.
I just chatted with an assistant on QuickBooks about this same issue and they said I just had to manually delete all the duplicates. Great, that will only take me a week.
The same thing happened to me a couple days ago with my Etsy transactions.I just chatted with a quickbook assistant and explained the situation and they told me the only thing I could do was manually delete all the duplicates- great, that will only take me a week.
Thanks for joining this thread, @Cwade3.

Moving forward, if you have any concerns about QuickBooks. I’m always ready to help you out.
I didn’t add anything. The strange thing is, it’s only January’s transactions.
Yes, having this same issue. It's all of January. I've tried hiding my bank account and all of that, doesn't help. It's the Etsy orders that are causing duplicates. It looks like it counts the income when the order is placed, then it duplicates when the order is complete (after purchasing a shipping label). Although it has nothing to do with the shipping label expense, I just noticed that the duplicates are not all right after each other. The timing of the duplicate corresponds more to finishing an order.
Do we need to notify quickbooks if this affects us as well? Mine are messed up from January too.
Mine are also doing the same thing.
Yes! It looks like my account duplicated all the Etsy transactions only in January 2020. I didn't change anything or add any bank account. It just started doing it out of nowhere. This needs fixed asap. I trust and pay quickbooks for this integration with Etsy!
Hello everyone, @SYES.

For now, to get rid of those duplicate transactions, you can manually delete them
Your patience while this has been worked on is much appreciated. Let me know if there's anything else you need. I'll be around to help you out. Take care!
Yes, just noticed that every single transaction that downloaded from Etsy was duplicated
I had over 7,014 transactions, manually deleting half of those does not feel like a logical solution.
Is there an era for the fix?
Is there an eta for the fix?
Hi @Annabanana1,
This isn't the impression we want to leave with you. This issue has already been escalated to our product engineers, in which they are diligently working for a fix. At this time, we don't have a specific time frame when this issue will be resolved.
Please see this link for additional information on this investigation status: QuickBooks Status. You can also sign up to receive updates as soon as they're available by selecting SUBSCRIBE TO UPDATES on the page.
I appreciate your patience while this is being resolved. If you have any questions, let me know by commenting below.
Is this still unable to be fixed?
I'm going to cancel my account if I have to manually delete each transaction. It doesn't make sense to pay for the service if I have to spend hours correcting a glitch.
Good morning, hello79.
Thanks for following up on this thread.
After reviewing the ticket specific to this problem with the Etsy duplicates, there isn't an exact time frame given regarding the resolution. It is now a year later and I contacted QB via chat support and he has no idea what I'm talking about regarding this issue of Etsy duplicate transactions for Jan 2020. I cannot sit here and manually delete these duplicate transactions, this is ridiculous. Has there been any assistance yet to fix this issue?
ticket #41299
It has been a year now and I am still waiting for a fix for my Ersy duplicate transactions fir January 2020! I am not going to delete each one manually, this is insane. What is the outcome of your promise to "escalate" this issue?? I chatted with someone on here today and they were completely useless. Your $14.99 month fee is outrageous and I will be leaving asap. ticket #41299
Hi there, Mariwesty.
I appreciate you for providing detailed information on what you've done to fix the issue already. This isn't the kind of service I want you to feel about the issue of Etsy duplicate transactions.
Ticket #41299 has already tagged as resolved last year. To refresh and isolate the issue since you still encountered the same thing, I suggest logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.
Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.
If it works in incognito, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. You can check this article to see the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
If the steps above didn't work, use another supported browser as alternatives.
if the issue continues to occur, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self Employed support Team. They have the tools to check and investigate why you're still experiencing the same problem. You can follow the steps shared by my colleague BettyJaneB or click this article on how to reach them: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.
Please click this article to see om how QBSE is designed to help you record your self-employed income and expenses, track mileage, and prepare your Schedule C: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.
Let me know if there's anything else you need help with. Know that I'm always here to help you anytime. Take care and keep safe!
