Hello. I created an "Accountant Company" in order to undo a reconcile on my main account. I no longer need the "Accountant Company" anymore. How can I delete it?

Good to see you here in the Community forum, @finance. I'd be glad to share insights about deleting your accountant company in QuickBooks.

Deleting your QuickBooks Online Accountant company file is unavailable. If you no longer want to use it, you can simply disregard this account.

On the other hand, you can remove accountant access in your QuickBooks Online company file. This will revoke access to your books.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Manage Users.
  3. Select the Accountants or Accounting Firms tab.
  4. Find the accountant you want to remove.
  5. From the Action column, select Delete.
  6. Choose Delete.

Also, if you want to remove your QuickBooks Online account from the Clients list of your QBOA company, so it will no longer appear in the dashboard. You may follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant as an admin.
  2. Select Clients.
  3. Find the client you want to delete and select their name.
  4. In the Edit client dropdown, select Delete permanently.
  5. Choose Yes to confirm.

For detailed instructions about the steps I've shared above, see these articles:
