How can I transfer my existing QB checking account to Quickbooks Money?

I recently upgraded from QBO to QBD. I had a QB checking account with my online subscription. As of now we can still access and use the QB checking account. However I know we are supposed to lose access completely after a year. I use it for specific things and I would like to continue that. I’ve learned about the Quickbooks Money app and I downloaded it. However, it won’t let me access anything from the cancelled subscription and it wants me to apply for a new checking account. This account is primarily used for payroll so I can’t risk something happening and not having access to those funds for any amount of time. Is there a way to transfer my existing account to a Quickbooks Money account?

How can I transfer my existing QB checking account to Quickbooks Money?

Hello there, windyl0u.

I'm here to help you with transferring your QuickBooks Checking account to QuickBooks Money.

QuickBooks Money is a separate offering from Intuit that consists of QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Checking. Since your QuickBooks Checking account is linked to your online subscription, I suggest reaching out to our Merchant Services Support Team. They have the necessary tools to determine if you can transfer your online QuickBooks Checking account to QuickBooks Money.

You can get in touch with them by clicking the Chat with us link or finding the phone number in this article: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support. Then, navigate to the QuickBooks Payments section.

To learn more about how QuickBooks Money works, you can refer to this article: Business banking made for you.

If you ever need tips and related articles about "How Do I" steps in QuickBooks Desktop in the future, you can visit our QuickBooks Community help website for assistance: QBDT Self Help.

Should you require further assistance with QuickBooks, feel free to reach out. We're here for you. Take care, and I wish you continued success, windyl0u.
