Hi there, @support-jandjmot.
Thanks for posting in the Community and sharing the details of your concern. I can provide information to help you resolve the bank transaction issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To start, may I know the specific bank you're using? Did you encounter this error message on the Banking page? Any additional information will help me provide the best resolution for your concern.
In the meantime, let's do the following steps to help you bring your transactions into QuickBooks.
Your bank might be doing some maintenance in their end. This can affect how the transactions flow into QuickBooks. You'll want to contact them about it and ask them about the estimated time and other details.
The transactions will usually flow automatically after the maintenance. If not, you'll want to manually update the feeds. Simply click the Update button for at least three to five times to ensure the transactions will flow through properly.
If you've encountered a specific error message, there are a variety of ways to fix it. Refer to this article and proceed to Step 4: Fix specific bank errors for the complete steps: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you need to work on your bank transactions immediately, you can manually download and upload them in QBO. Consider checking out this article for further guidance: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Good morning! I am using Huntington bank, and there doesn't seem to be maintenance with the bank. I Have just switched to Quickbooks (literally within the last 24 hours) and have continued to encounter this problem. My previous software (WaveApps) is still pulling bank connections flawlessly so i'm not sure what is happening. I have followed the above recommendations with no success.
Thanks for verifying the issue within your bank, @support-jandjmot.
Let me join in this conversation and share you additional troubleshooting steps to address the issue.
Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason why you're getting the error message.
To verify, let's clear the cache in your regular browser. Before we proceed, open your account in a private window. This way, we can isolate the issue and fix the problem. Simply press the following shortcut keys to access this mode:
If you're able to connect your bank, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also use another supported browser if the issue persists. This could be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.
If you're still getting the same behavior, contact our QuickBooks Online Support Team to further address the issue. That way, they can check your account in and trace the cause of the error.
The Community always has your back, so please let me know if you have any other questions. I'll be more than happy to help. Keep safe.
My transactions have stopped flowing. It seems like it is my 2 factor authentication that is preventing the process from working. I have verified my banking information like 6 times in succession, but nothing and I mean NO TRANSACTIONS are flowing. I really can't seem to make this connection automatic anymore.
Please advise
