It's also important the Taxpayer Identification Number or Social Security Number we have on file must be correct. This is to ensure you can process the taxes and forms seamlessly.
Since you’re working remotely in India, I suggest contacting your employer for further assistance. They can check for guidance on how to handle this situation with a tax adviser. This way, you’ll receive payments without any issues.
