Is there a limit to the number of Banking Rules in QBO?

There's no limit as to how many bank rules you can create, dan-gonzales.
Bank rules speed up this review process. You can create rules that automatically categorize transactions for you. The more QuickBooks uses your bank rules, the better it gets at categorizing. You can look into this article for more details on our list of our usage limits. Hi
I am trying to create a rule in QBO (I have Quickbooks Plus) and I get an error message stating that I have reached the maximum allowed rules. Delete some unused rules to create new ones.
If there is no limit, why am I getting this error message? How can I overcome this issue? We categorize over 2000 transactions a month and rules are a huge part of automating our process. How can this be fixed?
Thanks

Let's perform a few troubleshooting steps to resolve this behavior when dealing with bank rules. Cache helps browser's background processes. However, it can cause issues when piled up on your browser.
We can try opening a private window for it doesn't store cache. Then, continue doing the bank rules. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. Otherwise, since cache differs from every browsers and computers, you can use other supported browser.
If the same thing happens, I recommend contacting our Support Team. This way our engineers can take a look at this problem and see if there's a bug causing it.
