I understand what you are saying!! I just want to double check then that when I post the payment to the credit card I can pull up the card in QuickBooks to ensure it balances.
Welcome back, @dag-76. I appreciate your follow-up concerning the credit card transactions you want to enter in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can pull up your credit card transactions to ensure it balances by running a QuickReport. Before that, make sure first to enter the credit card transactions by entering them as expenses. You can follow the steps shared by my peer above.
Once added, you can go to the Transactions menu, select Chart of Accounts, and look for the account. From the Action dropdown, click Run report.
Moreover, when you record a transaction in QBO, you need to categorize it. This way, you'll be putting them on the correct accounts. After that, it's recommended to reconcile your accounts every month so they always match your bank and credit card statements.
