Hi there, autrainrivercott.
Thanks for posting your question here in the Community. I'd be glad to lend a hand with your bank account security info in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Would you happen to be receiving Error 185? If so, I've got the article for you with the fix. You can check it out here: Fix bank error 185
If you aren't seeing Error 185, have you received any other error code when entering your security credentials?
I'll keep an eye out for your reply and I'll be here to help.
Hello, yes it says "for your security, Huntington Bank requires additional verification info. (185)
I process the verification code, and it works.
The problem is I have to do this every time I use QB, or after a couple of hours of inactivity.

I am also having the same problem. Clearing the 185 error is very easy, however with in minutes I have to due it again. Which means my accounting data is NOT live.
I have to do the 2-step security code manually every time I log on or even every 5 mins while I'm logged on to quick books.

Hi there, @StevenOhio.
It's great to hear you cleared error 185 so you can connect the bank to your account. Allow me to help you get around the two-step security code in that way you don't have to do it again.
Here's how:
Furthermore, add Intuit's domain to your ad blocker's allow list or disable your ad blocker specifically for the *.intuit.com domain in case of external factors.
However, if the system still asks for the 2-step verification after logging in. I'd recommend contacting your financial institution directly to disable two-factor authentication for your bank account.
Additionally, I'd like to share this article for you to access your Intuit Account and download your personal data: Access and manage your personal data from your Intuit Account.
If you need more guidance about managing your Intuit account or other QuickBooks products, don't hesitate to reply. I'm always around to help!
Finally found a solution that worked for me. Quickbooks should take note and pass along to customers since there have been many inquires with this issue and huntington.
1. Log into huntington
2. Go to profile and select financial management tool access.
3. Turn to On.
