My QuickBooks checking account will let me transfer to an external account but will not let me transfer from external account to QuickBooks checking. Any idea why?

You can transfer money into your QuickBooks Checking account by selecting a connected bank account in the From ▼ drop-down list while using your Transfer money feature.

Here's how:
 

1. Go to Banking services, then QuickBooks Checking.
2. Click Transfer.
3. Hit Transfer money.
4. Enter an amount.
5. Use the From ▼ drop-down list and choose a connected bank account.
6. In your To ▼ drop-down, pick the QuickBooks Checking account.
7. Press Next.
8. Select Finish transfer.
