The new 2021 Desktop bank feeds matching screen allows me to see exactly 3 transactions and takes up 2/3s of the screen space with headers and summary information about the account.
This is ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous. This screen has been designed for an ONLINE, MOBILE user, not a DESKTOP USER.
This is frightful! We paid hard earned money for this product and we are so hampered by design stupidity.
I don't need information in 16pt fonts.
How do we fix this immediately so that we can all get some actual work done?
Hi,
I understand how this type of view bothers you. I, myself, wants a setting on my preference.
It's possible that the desktop view is set to show only one window. Thus, making the screen to look wider. You can modify its settings through the Desktop View page. Let me guide you with these steps:
I've also added this article on how you can download and edit bank feeds transactions: Get started with Bank Feeds for QuickBooks Desktop.
Keep me posted in case you needed help in editing a transaction. I'll be around!
Sorry, you must really have never seen this issue personally.
Go into the product and look for yourself.
I've been running multiple windows mode for 10+ years.
This *new* advanced bank feeds feature WAS NOT designed at all for the desktop.
This is really evident when you look at the window and see that a full two thirds of
the window is taken up with headers that could be put in ONE line.
This is a result of a very poor QA (quality assurance) process before releasing the product.
It's clear that no one past the developers who work on huge screens and don't use the
product ever saw.
This is a major new release feature and it is UNUSABLE.
Have your DESIGN team take another look.
Unacceptable for a product that small businesses pay for.
This is not the kind of experience that we want you to have, @Ads Suck.
You can change display settings in QuickBooks from your Windows settings or adjust your view preferences in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) from your preferences. It will resolve any display issues you have.
Here's how to change display settings in QuickBooks:
You can follow the steps outlined in the following article if you're not still satisfied with your display and view preferences: Fix screen issues in QuickBooks Desktop.
In case you'll encounter any errors with your company file, you can use the File Doctor to fix it: Fix company file and network issues with QuickBooks File Doctor.

Sorry, again, your cut and paste solutions do not work.
I actually reset the DPI settings yesterday *before* I posted this thread.
There is actually no file called quickbooks.exe -- so whatever version those instructions were written for aren't correct.
The first option for the DPI settings does not exist in Windows 10 anymore. Again, don't know
where the QA for these documents is.
So following the shoddy instructions, I find the correct executable and apply these DPI settings.
NOPE. No change.
Once again, I repeat that this *SIZING* issue is *ONLY* apparent in the *NEW* Advanced Bank Feeds option.
The *NEW* to QB 2021 Desktop option. *ALL* the other windows are the correct size.
This problem is a DEVELOPER issue where the sizing is for an ONLINE or MOBILE app and NOT for the Desktop. The window layout is atrocious and I can guarantee that no one ever actually tried to use this window layout to actually do any work.
Please take a moment to actually look at the *real* issue in the Desktop version before cutting and pasting responses to issues.
