You can do so, @a beautiful yard!
You can remove the Capital advertisement by turning off the Turn off pop-up messages for products and services feature. I'm here to help you accomplish this.
In addition, I've included a screenshot below for your visual reference.

I have turned on the block pop ups however that box is still there. I can't see the bottom of my pages such as receive payment page. The memo box and close box is no longer available. I can't scroll down or move it to view the bottom.
This Happened as of the last update which I did on 11/24/19.
Hello there, @bluethirst.
If you're referring to the add banner that's showing up when receiving payments, the option to remove this is currently unavailable.
This issue impacts the software with large scaling and resolutions that are borderline meeting system requirements.
Please check the display settings to ensure it meets the minimum requirements.
You can also force it to full screen view with this button which will allow the buttons to show every time.
This situation has been assessed by our developers already. They are now working to improve the product and provide you the best customer experience.

I cannot make it go away either. Very annoying.
That solution does not work. It still remains on the receive payments from customer page
This solution did not work. Continues to still be there.
Hi there, @RGL46060.
If you aren't able to save and close your payments due to the add that's popping up on your screen, I recommend utilizing the keyboard shortcuts to get your work done.
To do that, press on the following keys:

Any progress? It has been four months since you said development was working on it.
Hello deedee1,
I've found that the QuickBooks Capital advertisement issue was reported and is now resolved. If you are still getting the same result, let's manually update the software to the latest release.
Here's how:
Please see this sample screenshot for a visual guide:
Once done, re-open your QuickBooks and make sure to run it as the administrator. You can also set the program to automatic updates. I've got this article for reference: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
Please let me know how it goes. I'll be around to help you some more. Thanks.
Thanks. I had to restart QB several times to get it to run all the updates but the box with the ad does have an X in it now and the ad disappeared (was covered up?) when I click the X.
BUT the real estate of the screen is still taken up (now with white space where the ad was added) and it STILL messes up the form and how it fits on the screen.
I still now must maximize QB and maximize the Customer Payment window in order to enter payments and click on Save.
Please, just take it out all together.
Thanks
DeeDee
