Hello there, texasstatebuilds,
Let’s make sure you’re able to download your two days worth of missing Capital One bank transactions to QBO.
To help fix this, you can manually update your bank account. This way, it will download any new transactions listed within the previous 90 days. Here’s how:
If your two days worth of bank transactions are still missing, I’d suggest using the WebConnect process. Here are the steps:
If you’re receiving an error while downloading your bank transactions, you can visit this article to help fix it: Steps to Resolve Banking Errors.
Keep me posted how the steps above work on your end, texasstatebuilds. Just drop a comment below if you have other online banking concerns. Rest assured, I’ll be here to help.
Hi I read your response about another situations similar to mine, how ever I still ave questions. Hoping you can help. I am trying to reconcile my January Amex account and I am missing dates from the 23rd-27th. If I do a web download from Amex, will it duplicate all my other transactions that I already have?
Thanks for posting in the Community, @stumped. I'd be glad to help with your missing January transactions.
Just to clarify, are you referring to using WebConnest to import the transactions? If so, you should be able to select the date range of the transactions that you're downloading from Amex's website. I've included a screenshot to serve as an example:
This will help to reduce any chance of duplicate transactions. For additional information on using the WebConnect feature, such as accepted file formats, I recommend the following article: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.
Additionally, since you're reconciling, I wanted to take a quick moment to reference the Reconcile Hub. Here you can locate multiple articles to help with every step of the process, such as correcting balances or fixing interest charges.
That's it. I'm sure you'll have the transactions imported and the account reconciled in no time.
If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to let me know. Have a wonderful day.
That worked perfectly!!!
Thank you soooo much!!!
:)
You're most welcome, @stumped. I'm glad to hear that it worked perfectly for you!
