How come my Amazon transactions aren't updating?

I keep getting OTP codes, but my transactions aren't updating with the items purchased, like it used to.

How come my Amazon transactions aren't updating?

Thanks for joining the Community, leo31.

 

Since your Amazon transactions aren't updating, I'd recommend making sure the integration's still turned on in Labs.

 

Here's how:

  1. Use your Gear (⚙️) icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Choose Labs.
  3. Make sure it's turned on. If it isn't, you'll see an option to Turn It On.
  4. In the event you had to turn it on, enter your Amazon credentials.
  5. Allow the connection to complete.

 

There's also some things you'll want to be aware of when working with this feature:

  • Items purchased with a giftcard or promotional credit won't appear.
  • For Amazon order details to appear in QuickBooks, you must have connected the account you use to purchase items on Amazon. If your account isn't connected, the transaction's details won't appear because they won't match to anything in your books. For example, if you use two payment methods on Amazon, only the items purchased with the payment method connected to QuickBooks will show up in your books.
  • After you've saved a split transaction, your work will remain, even if you turn off the integration. Only the order items will disappear from QuickBooks.

How come my Amazon transactions aren't updating?

Thank you for the reply. I've been doing this for a while now. It was working with my Chase Amazon credit card transactions (sporadically), I added another card to my Chase account and added the bank (not the card) to my accounts, now none of my Amazon transactions are updating. I'm making purchases with the new card only now, none of my new, or old transactions are changing.

Let's access your account using a private browser or an incognito window. This is to check if it has something to do when the browser using or your subscription. This browsing doesn’t store data and will help the page load without issues from temporary data.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

 

Next, go back and verify if the transactions are now updating in your account. If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks. Then, restart your browser right after.

 

If you're still getting the same result, please contact our Customer Care Support so we can investigate further.

 

Follow the steps below in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account:

 

  1. Go to Help at the top and then select Contact us.
  2. In the Ask a question (or tell us what's wrong) section, describe the problem you're having.
  3. Tap Continue.
  4. Click your contact options in the Choose a way to connect with us section.
