How do I deposit check in app

Good afternoon bengdesigns1-gma,

Nice to see you here in the QuickBook Community. Once you have signed up for QuickBooks Payment and QuickBooks Checking and approved, you can use the mobile check deposit to deposit funds into QuickBooks Checking. It is crucial to ensure that the depositing check meets our requirements and that it is not needed immediately. Also, please note that this can only be done on IOS devices. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online app from a mobile device.
  2. Click Cash Flow.
  3. From QuickBooks Checking balance, select Send Money.
  4. Select Deposit checks. Note: If you don't see the option or if it's unavailable, it means you aren’t eligible yet.
  5. Enter the check amount.
  6. Sign your name on the back of the check and write “For mobile deposit only” under your signature.
  7. Take photos of the front and back of your check.
  8. Review the check amount and confirm the check images are clear. Retake the photos if necessary.
  9. If everything looks good, select Finish depositing.

For more information on using mobile check deposits to deposit funds into QuickBooks Checking, this article is very resourceful. Please let me know if you experience any issues, and I will be delighted to address them. Until then, take care!

How do I deposit check in app

I still don't see the Deposit Checks option.  Is there something I haven't done to make this available to me?  Or does it just take longer than I've given it for this option to be available?

Thanks for getting back to us, @bengdesigns1-gma

I'll share some information about the mobile check deposit. This is offered by QuickBooks Cash and Money QuickBooks and is subject to eligibility criteria. Your QuickBooks Cash or Money by QuickBooks account must be active and in good standing.

My colleague, SashaMC mentioned above about Deposit check, if you don't see the option or if it's unavailable, it means you aren’t eligible yet. Mobile check deposit is available on iOS devices. Make sure that you're using one.

Hey there, @LSivek

Thanks for chiming in on this thread. I hope your day is going well so far. Let me provide you with an update on depositing a check in your QuickBooks Online app.

At this time, we don't have an estimated timeframe of when this would be available for Android or the browser users. The Deposit Check feature is only for iOS devices.

You can always send your feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider adding this feature to different devices faster. Don't forget to check out our Blog site to keep up with what's new in the system.

I hope this helps answer your question. Stop by again if you have any other concerns. We're always here to have your back. Wishing you and your business continued success!

Are the check images available anywhere in Quickbooks for checks that were deposited using Mobile Deposit through Quickbooks Checking? We would use this to match the check payment with the open invoice.

Thanks for following along with the thread, @DHBilling.

At this time, there isn't a way to view the images of the checks. I understand how beneficial this feature would be for you and your business. With that said, I went ahead and submitted this suggestion to our Product Development Team.

Our developers review each request and consider them all for future updates. You can follow all of our latest updates and happenings by using our Blog Site

I'm always around if you have any additional questions or concerns. Take care!
