Hello userdardopolimeni32!
I'm happy to answer your question about transferring money.
If you mean transferring money from QuickBooks to your actual checking account, we're unable to do that since QuickBooks is for record-keeping purposes only. Anything you do in QuickBooks will not affect your checking account.
If you're asking about the steps to record a transfer, just click on + New and select Transfer under OTHERS. Then, enter the necessary information.
Let me know if you have more questions about creating a transfer or if you have a different question. You can also check about bank reconciliation for your reference in the future.
I've got paid thru Quick book but the money is there but not transfered to my checking account.
I don't know how to do that.
Thanks again Jess T
Thanks for getting back to this thread, @userdardopolimeni32,
Can you please confirm if you're using QuickBooks Payments to receive online payments from customers? I need this information so I can provide the accurate resolution to your concern.
If you are, and the funds are not yet posted to your Checking account, there are several reasons why it happens. The posting depends on the time when the transactions were created and which bank they are deposited. The period on how long it takes to verify and process electronic deposits may differ for each financial institution.
Additionally, there are instances when payments are taking longer than usual because the might be on hold for verification. For new QuickBooks Payments users, the first few payments take a bit longer to process while we set everything up. See this article to learn more about this: How long does it take to get customer payments into your bank account?
You can also contact our Payments Support to trace the funds for you. To get a live rep to help you, click the following link: Contact Payments Support
Add more details about the issue in the comments. I'll be waiting for your response and I'm right here to help you with your customer payments. Have a nice day!
Thank you for your help guys.
