I'll help you change your online banking password in Quickbooks, @louisgeorges2000.
When you recently change your online banking credentials, you'll also have to update the bank information in QuickBooks. You can click the Edit sign in info button to change the bank's password. Let me show you how:
QuickBooks automatically downloads the latest available transactions. You can then categorize, match or add them to the bank register.
In case you don’t see your recently downloaded bank transactions in QuickBooks Online, then you can follow the troubleshooting steps provided in this article to fix the issue: What to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error.

That's weird I don't see the button you're talking about.
But I clicked the update button and the account updated itself... I guess it updated the password automatically. Thanks for your help!
I don't see that button either.

Let's get the Edit sign-in info button display so you can update your bank information in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
One of the possible reasons why the button isn't showing is that the browser you're using had a data issue. Let's try logging in to your QBO account using a private or a different browser. This way, we can check if it's a browser data issue. Press this shortcut key on your keyboard to open a private browser:
Once logged in, go back and try to edit your bank's sign-in info again to double-check. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh.
However, if the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can further look into this matter and provide additional troubleshooting steps to get this resolved. They can also create an investigation ticket if other users are experiencing the same.
Once your bank account information is already updated, you can check out this article to learn how to categorize and match your bank transactions: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Should you need any additional assistance while managing your bank transactions, you can leave a comment below. I'll be sure to get back to you.
I have the same problem. There is not a button to "edit sign in info." There is only a button area to "edit account info." HELP Please.
Hi ginanguyendenton,
The Edit sign-in info button is only available to connected accounts. If you're just uploading transactions, you'll only see Edit account info. The term "account" there refers to your bank register in the Chart of Accounts.
If you want to link your account, you need to detach the account from the Banking page.
Once detached, you can follow the steps for linking bank accounts.
Let me know if you have other questions with online banking. Take care and good evening!
