Welcome to the Community, @kerdelt.

Let me help and provide information about your missing bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start, may I know what specific name of the bank? to verify if there are any issues between QBO. If you're unable to find your downloaded transactions in QBO, here's how to check different areas of your accounts to find missing transactions:

Step 1: Get the latest transactions

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank Transactions
  2. Select Update.

When it's finished, check the Banking menu again for the missing transaction. It's likely in the For Review section. If the download seems stuck, here's what to do if bank transactions won’t download.

Step 2: Check around the Banking menu

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the tile for the bank or credit card account you downloaded the transaction from.

These are the three areas to check:

  • Start in the For review tab. This is where QuickBooks puts recently downloaded transactions. If you find the missing transaction, categorize it into an account. Transactions don't show up on your books until you categorize them.
  • Next, check the Categorized tab. This tells you what happens to transactions you already categorized. Specifically, review the Added or Matched column. This tells you which account you categorized the transaction into. If you find your missing transaction, but it's in the wrong account, follow these steps to unmatch and move it.
  • Finally, check the Excluded tab. If you mark a transaction as personal or a duplicate, it goes here. QuickBooks won't add excluded transactions to your accounts. If you want to include it, select Undo from the action column. Then go back to the For review tab and categorize it into the correct account.

To proceed to Steps 3 and 4, you can check this article for more detailed information: What to do if you can't find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.

You can also visit this article to learn how to reconcile your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online

Please feel free to drop a comment below, if you have further concerns about the steps to find the missing transactions or other QBO-related concerns. I will answer them in any possible way.

None of this troubleshooting works. There is a KNOWN issue, which Quickbooks is NOT communicating out, with many banks, and users are unable to bring in transactions from those banks. We need to raise this issue up the food chain and get some traction with Quickbooks on communicating out with the issue IS, what banks are affected, and what the status is on getting it fixed!!

@jcbl

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

@4Gal not interested in a workaround at this point. I pay QB enough annually. The complete lack of communication, status updates and resolution target is unprofessional
