I want to delete the duplicate bank depost. I've click NEW/BANK DEPOSIT....I see two of the same transactions. there is no delete option. How do I delete 1?

1) Open the Bank Deposit screen with the transaction in question. (Left Dashboard > "+ New" > Other > Bank Deposit > Click small Clock icon at the top right corner, click More link if needed).

2) Click MORE at the bottom

3) Select DELETE

i do not have the "more" option at the bottom.  I only have print....i've selected the duplicate and there is only print at the bottom.

You will only see this option on already saved Bank Deposits. The More option isn't available for new deposits. You will need to save them first to get this action available. Once saved, open a Deposit Detail report and click the deposits one at a time. Here's how:

1. Go to the Reports menu and select Deposit Detail from the list.
2. Update the Report period and select Run report.
3. Locate the transaction from the entries.
4. Click to open the transactions.
5. You will see the More option at the bottom.

So I added the deposit as you stated, ran the report and then deleted the deposit, but it still shows up in the NEW deposit section. I'm trying to delete it from +NEW/BANK DEPOSIT.  Is there a way to remove the duplicate from there?  I've already posted the original to my registry.  I want  the second to be deleted from +NEW/BANK DEPOSIT area.

To have the More option on the Bank Deposit screen, you'll need to click the "Clock" icon and choose the duplicate deposit from there.

Here are the detailed steps including sample screenshots:

1. On the Bank Deposit screen, click the Clock icon.
2. Click the duplicate Deposit.
3. You'll have the More and Delete option.
4. Hit Yes.

If you still can't delete the duplicate transaction from there, you can use the Advanced Search to find the deposit.

Here's how:

1. Click the Magnifying glass icon at the top and hit Advanced Search.
2. Choose Deposit and enter the Amount.
3. Hit Search.
   
4. You'll have the lists of deposits including the duplicates.
5. Open transaction and to delete it.

I am having this same problem.  I have tried all your steps and each time I add the deposit and then go delete it, it ends back up on the BANK DEPOSIT list.  I can't get these duplicates off this list.
