If my transactions aren't coming over from the bank, can I fix it through Quickbooks or do I need to contact the bank?

In "banking" it shows that I'm all caught up, but I haven't received any transactions from my bank (Twin Star Credit Union) for 2022.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser and connect it to your bank again.

I'll make sure that you'll be able to get your bank transactions, info1760.

QuickBooks Online automatically downloads your bank transactions every night, around 10 PM PST. If you've noticed that you're no longer getting the latest available transactions, you can perform a manual update to refresh your current connection. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the Banking tab, then choose the appropriate bank account.
  3. Click Update.
  4. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA),then select Continue update.

Alternatively, you can perform the troubleshooting procedures provided by Fiat Lux - ASIA above. There are times that accumulated cache in the browser causes syncing issues in the program. You may use these shortcut keys to launch a private window:

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

If you're able to download your transactions, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache and cookies to start over fresh. Using other supported browsers can also help further isolate the issue.

Lastly, here's an article that you read to help review your downloaded online banking transactions in QBO: Categorize and match bank transactions.

I'll be around if you need additional assistance in dealing with your other tasks. Have a good one.

Thank you for the instructions. I use QB in Firefox and Chrome but mostly Firefox. I removed the Intuit cookies from both and restarted my computer, with no success. I also tried doing it Incognito in Chrome.

I haven't received transactions from the bank for 2022 although it is showing as connected.

The solution was to reconnect with the bank. Apparently, all QB customers with this bank were having the same problem. I wanted you to know you were right! Thank you so much!
