Are there any updates on getting PayPal credit to connect to QBO?
Hello there, @Ldorey.
Let's work together to fix the issue of why you can't connect PayPal to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
Beforehand, did you encounter a specific error message while connecting PayPal Credit to your QBO account? This way, we can better check if there are any related issues with your bank on my end.
One of the possible reasons why you're having trouble connecting your account can sometimes be caused by a stored cache and cookies in your browser. Let's connect your PayPal account to QBO through an incognito window to determine if it's a browser-related issue. Here are the shortcut keys:
Once you're in incognito mode, connect your PayPal Credit to QBO. You can also utilize other supported browsers if the issue persists.
In the meantime, you'll want to upload your bank transactions manually. You'll need to request a .CSV file from your financial institution to upload the file to your account.
Moreover, you can also handle your PayPal transactions the same way as your other bank transactions using the Connect to Paypal app with QBO.
Feel free to reach out to me again if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions about connecting your PayPal Credit account. I'll be here and ready to help anytime.

I have had this issue since the early summer of 2023. Both I and Tech support have done what he has suggested repeatedly and it has not worked. I have had to report it several times and send it up the chain and still it has not been fixed. They have been on my computer several times to watch the process over and over again with different browsers and still it has not been fixed. THEY ARE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO FIX THIS ISSUE !!!
You should consider to use the trial version of a 3rd party connector to isolate the issue.
Same issue! Need resolution

To fix this, we can try signing in to your QBO account using a private browser or "incognito" mode. This can help your computer or device run more efficiently by preventing interference from extensions, plugins, or cookies. Here are the shortcut keys for these browsers:

Additionally, you can resolve this issue by connecting your PayPal Credit while in incognito mode. If that doesn't work, try using a different supported browser.
Moreover, it also might be due to recent changes in the bank. If so, you can follow the steps given by my colleague, Rubielyn. For a detailed steps, you can check this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online

I have also been having an issue with connecting PayPal Credit to your QBO account. The issue is NOT with PayPal generally, but with PayPal Credit specifically.
Specifically, when I go to link PayPal to QBO, I see an ability to connect to both my general PayPal account and to my PayPal Cashback World Mastercard, but I DO NOT SEE and cannot seem to find any way to connect to PayPal Credit.
Accordingly, I contacted the Quickbooks Customer Support Team (and PayPal as well, who refers me to QB), and -- just today -- I received an email message that says "We reviewed your case (15110541480), and we're happy to say this issue is resolved. No further action is required. But really?? I took a look and my PayPal Credit is still NOT connected and my attempts to link the account still turns up empty. And just my luck, it's a Friday evening and I won't be able to contact the Quickbooks Customer Support Team until Monday.
This is NOT working, please help!

Explore to use a paid connector for the time being.
Why would I type payroll adjustments? That's not the problem. In any event, I have indeed been reaching out via QB Help to human beings.
Thank you, but I don't really know what you mean by this.
I believe I have a current QuickBooks case number 15111233405 at present. At this point, however, QuickBooks assistants seem to be asking me to contact PayPal, and PayPal assistants say they believe they've reviewed what they can and they ask me what QB is saying. Apparently nobody knows why my PayPal Credit account isn't showing up when trying to link to PayPal Credit, Mastercard and Crypto. I wish I could find a solution!
I understand how hard this experience has been, Passa. I appreciate the efforts you've made.

Dear Gebel Alaina M,
I would like to mention that I've worked on this issue since last October and spoken with support representatives at PayPal, at Quickbooks, and even at PayPal Credit. I would also mention that my husband has similar accounts that have remained connected with QuickBooks (we can access *his* PayPal Credit account with Quickbooks but *not mine*).
Representatives have tried to help me with mine, but with no success. I'm sorry to see you say that Quickbooks is not working on this issue.
The best I can recommend for anyone unable to connect a PayPal Credit Account to Quickbooks is to export PayPal Credit transactions to a *.csv file and import them to Quickbooks with that file. Nothing else has worked for me.
It would be great if these companies would work together to fix this but, so far, they each seem to blame the other company for the problem. Quickbooks does not "see" my PayPal Credit account (while it *does* see my husband's) and, thus, I cannot get it connected.
I've been at this for weeks as well and same thing as you, they don't care to fix this.
Apparently not.
I spoke with customer service about something else today and she was great as to two other connection issues, but she asked whether I had any other outstanding problems, lucky her. She then tried to help me connect PayPal Credit, but no, that account is still not visible for connection. The best I can do is to continue to download *.csv files from PayPal Credit periodically.
This is an ongoing and completely ignored issue that quite a few people have been experiencing..
just figure it out yourself by doing it manually is the best they have.
very pathetic for a accounting software that we are paying full price for.
i have been getting this exact email since july:
