problem about importing qbo file

Welcome to the Community, @kim00875. I'll share some insights about importing QBO files to QuickBooks Desktop.

Web Connect problems can happen for a variety of reasons. Files from the bank are occasionally incomplete or in the incorrect format. Changes at your bank can also cause problems.

Before you begin, take note of the following:

  1. Follow the instructions to create a backup of your company file.
  2. Make sure you're running QuickBooks Desktop on a supported version.
  3. Update to the most recent version of Internet Explorer.

Also, check your bank's website. If your bank's support for QuickBooks Desktop changes, you will get a notification. Check your messages by logging into your bank's website. Follow the instructions if you encounter any warnings concerning changes. Follow the procedures to disconnect your account if your bank no longer supports Web Connect.

Make sure to verify requests from your bank's website. Before they can access your QuickBooks data, several banks require you to verify your identity. It can happen if you reinstall QuickBooks or upgrade to a newer version.

Check your messages by logging into your bank's website. Look for any access requests and approve them according to their guidelines.

If you can't find any message, check on this article and proceed to the fifth step: Fix Web Connect import errors.

problem about importing qbo file

I have been importing QBO files forever and now I am having issues.  I am on QB's desktop 2020 and I always go to file, utilities, import, web connect files.  I then go to the QBO file as I have always and when I click on the QBO file I get the following:

Web Connect Account Setup

"The account information dowloaded by your Financial Institution contains information that is not supported by QuickBooks." Etc-this make no sense to me for just last month I had not problems.  What in the world is going on?
