I'm using QB Mac desktop 2024 and have issues importing my QBO file from chase. It worked fine before and now it keeps giving the OL-222 error. This is sooooo frustrating because we literally just pay for the QBO importing feature and it doesn't work. I've read through every OL-222 post and couldn't find the solution.
-I've disconnected and reconnected our chase bank.
-I've rebuilt and verified the data.
-I've opened and removed all "&" symbols from QBO file.
-Theres no 2024 FILIST.
I am using the latest version of QB 2024 as of today QuickBooks 23.1.4.668 R5
Has QBO importing been disabled or something ?
Did you run the bank feed with more than one company file?
Hello there, @brian1989. We'll point you in the right direction to help get your QuickBooks Online (QBO) file from Chase to your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac.
Before anything else, please know that this isn't the experience we want you to have when importing data inside the program. We recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so they can conduct further investigation on this and update the FIDIR list for 2024 QBDT for Mac. These are the steps:

I do have two different company files but I made sure to open the correct one before trying to import the QBO file.
Okay, so just in case anyone else experiences this problem here's the solution that worked for me. With quickbooks open, press "command + 1" to bring up the product window. Next, click the tab that says "Logging" and delete the "FIDir". The issue surrounding this will force quickbooks to reset the institutions directory and it should work.
I tried that ....do i have to then re-start the online banking set up for the bank? cuz its not working when i tried to import file right after.
Yes, you’ll need to reconnect your bank. This workaround pretty much resets your connection. I was told the issue was because there were too many “auto fill” rules set up throughout the time importing transactions.
Yes you’ll need to reconnect your online bank accounts . Let me know if it works because this problem is a nightmare.
