My actual transaction on my AMEX card is as follows:

Net cash payment                 $24.77

I have no idea why there are such differences.

Hi there, sweilers5. I appreciate you getting back to us and providing additional information about your bank transactions concern with a screenshot.

Let me share information on how online banking works in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The data we receive in QuickBooks depends on the information sent to us by the financial institution. As a result, once you connect your online banking to QBO, the transactions that appear on your account match those on your bank statement. I advise verifying your bank statement for the transactions recorded on your QBO account.

For future reference, here's an article you can check for the best practices when reconciling your account: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks. It also provides information on what to do when encountering challenges during the reconciliation process.

If you have any further questions regarding bank transactions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're ready to assist. Enjoy your day.

I am also experiencing a similar issue.  We have 2 different office credit cards, same bank, for some reason, all the charges on card one are also showing up on card 2 now.  I do not want to "match" or "add" these and I can not remove them either.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Adriana

I understand how significant managing accounts in QuickBooks is, for proper transaction management, Adriana201.

As mentioned by my colleague @MirriamM above, QBO is only dependent on the data sent by financial institutions.

However, transactions that are already downloaded can be excluded through these few simple steps:

  1. Go to Transactions, then click Bank transactions.
  2. From the For Review tab, locate the transactions.
  3. Then hit Exclude.

If you wish to establish both a parent and a sub-account for the same bank, you need to determine which specific credit card will serve as the parent account. For the complete guidance, you can check this one:
About bank or credit card subaccount setup.

Additionally, you can click on this article to help you manage transactions in the future: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to click reply if you have any banking or QuickBooks-related concerns. Stay safe.
