To be able to add an account in QuickBooks, you'll need to close the advertisement by clicking the X sign or the No thanks option. Once done, you can follow the step-by-step process below in adding your bank:
However, if you're still unable to see the option to add the account, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. If you're still getting the same result, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps.

Once signed in, go back to your banking page and add the account from there. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main portal and clear its cache to remove the browser's history or you can press CTRL+Shift and Delete key on your keyboard altogether. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.
Once imported, I recommend editing, assigning, and categorizing your transactions. Also, you can match them to the existing entries in the software. Just go to the For Review tab from the Banking menu. Doing so will help you ensure the accuracy of your financial records.

Apologies. There is no "X," nor is there a "No Thank You" button available on my browser (Mac OS Big Sur 11.5). I've attached some screen shots of what the Ads look like. Unable to get past them.

There are times when the browser is clogged with frequently accessed page resources, resulting in errors or unusual responses. To resolve the issue, I recommend performing some troubleshooting steps.
To begin, open an incognito window and log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Since it does not store data in the cache, it is an excellent tool for isolating browser-related issues. The keyboard shortcuts are as follows:
Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P
Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
Safari: Command + Shift + N
Then, let's try to remove the advertisement once more or select the "say no thank you" option. If that works, let's delete the cache in your browser to start afresh. If not, use one of the other supported web engines.

this is still a problem. I can not get into the checking account to sync with my bank.
