Why are all my transactions in my bank register being deleted?

When I try to connect a transaction with a bill pay invoice, QBs tells me I cannot as the transaction has been deleted.

Let's verify if the transactions are deleted from the register. This can be done by going to the Chart of Accounts. Here's how:

 

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), go to the Accounting menu at the left pane to get to the Chart of Accounts page.
  2. Locate the account, then tick View register under the Action column. 
  3. Try to find the transactions.

 

If they're in the register, the browser's cache and cookies may be causing this odd behavior. To isolate this, try signing into your QBO using a private browser (incognito).

 

Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.
